A game made for the 2026 Pygame Winter Community Jam.

Frostbound is a fast-paced survival shooter set in a frozen wilderness where the cold is just as deadly as the enemies. Protect the campfire, survive increasingly difficult waves of monsters, and manage your body temperature before the cold takes you.  Snowmen and slimes attack in waves, forcing you to constantly move, aim, and survive while staying close enough to the fire to keep from freezing. Defeat enemies, collect shards, and survive as long as possible.

Enemies spawn in waves. Each wave increases the number of enemies, making survival harder over time.The freezing environment slowly lowers your temperature. If your temperature reaches zero, you begin losing health. Staying near the campfire warms you back up.
